CyanogenMod released CM 10 M2 Stable

This month the monthly stable update cyanogenmod 10 m2 has released. Exactly one month ago, the CyanogenMod team has announced the new Cyanogenmod 10 M release. This should summarize the monthly progress of the experimental nightly builds and put together in a stable corset. CyanogenMod 10 M2 has been released in time for a large device selection.

The second edition of the monthly stable nightly builds of CyanogenMod 10 is out now and already includes a number of different smartphone models. This is the CM 10 M2 to the current interim progress report on the nightly versions of the custom ROM. This version is much more stable than the nightly compiled CyanogenMod 10 variants and should be suitable even for everyday use.

Interesting thing about this list is that both the Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100, the Samsung Galaxy Note, and the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 missing. Although the GT-I9100g and the Galaxy Note and SGS3 variants of different U.S. providers are supported, however, these also no Exynos CPU but those use chipsets from Texas Instruments and Qualcomm.

Whoever wants to flash a "stable" version of CyanogenMod 10 based on Android 4.1 on their smartphone, which can of course download the file directly from the developer and install it. Galaxy Note XXLRQ Firmware Update Released

Samsung has released galaxy note XXLRQ firmware update. After IFA 2012 The new GALAXY Note 2 has been presented already and will probably have to be the shops in early October. For tonight, the Samsung GALAXY note gets one big 196mb firmware update, this is called XXLRQ. However this Samsung GALAXY Note Update is for the "free" devices.

Ok, I admit that I did not expect: a 196 MB big update since last night to bring the international and the German Galaxy Note without branding the look of the Samsung Galaxy S III homescreens.

The good thing about the news that now as many had hoped for a long time that galaxy note finally get part of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Nature UX. Samsung indicates that the XXLRQ firmware update the launcher, the gallery and Setup Wizard will be updated. However, the Android version remains the same, it is still Android 4.0.4. but I can see the update on the parts of Nature UX Galaxy S III just as preparation for an update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Update: I now have a couple of hours playing with the update and the community has diligently collected changes.

New Features on XXLRQ FIRMWARE UPDATE

- New launcher (like the Galaxy S III)
- New Gallery (smart and 3D-effect)
- With Pop-Up Play the size can be changed
- Contacts can be stored in the "cloud S"
- If selected by raising the score during a contact is, is this called directly

If that XXLRQ firmware update will not be automatically offered for your Samsung GALAXY Note, as always, go to the settings - see> Software Update, and then start it manually -> About phone. With the size of 196mb for the Samsung GALAXY Note XXLRQ firmware update, it is recommended to perform this over the WLAN or wifi, because the large of the update file.

App Engine 1 6 3 Released

Our second release of this year will have you leaping into action to start using the new features immediately. What could be more exciting than a feature to support A/B testing on your app? Or DKIM signing when you send email from your Google Apps domain? This release has plenty of exciting changes to keep you busy on your extra day this year.

1.6.3 Platform Changes:

  • A new Experimental feature called Traffic Splitting lets you send a percentage of your traffic to different versions of your app. Traffic can be split based either on IP or on cookie.

  • When an email is sent either from a user of a Google Apps domain from a request originating on that domain, or from an app administrator with an account on a Google Apps domain, a DKIM signature will be automatically applied to the email.

1.6.3 Admin Console Changes

  • Billed applications can now specify the amount of storage used for logs and the duration of time these logs are stored (default is 90 days) as well as view the currently stored amount in the Admin Console. The first gigabyte of logs storage is free and additional storage will be charged at $0.24/G/month. These settings are now available, but additional storage will not be charged for at least 4 weeks, at that point any logs beyond the configured amount will be deleted.

  • You can now manually shut down an instance in the Instances view of the Admin Console.

  • The Logs Viewer for each request now provides a link to the instance that served that request (as long as the instance is still active).

These are just some of the highlights in 1.6.3. As usual, our release notes for Python® and Java® contain the full list of all the new features and bug fixes, so be sure to check out all the exciting things we’ve been working hard to release this past month.
